ARTS 143 : Figure Sculpture I
Learn to sculpt clay likenesses from live models through observation and modeling techniques. Study how the careful and continuous study from life expands an understanding of structure and shape, clarifies our perception of what we see, and hones our ability to form what we intend. Learn how the human form also inspires psychological exploration of expression.
