NURS 413 : Cult Cong Care-Clin Hlth Prof

Explores the influence of social, cultural, and environmental factors on health care. Emphasis is placed on the Culturally Competent Model of Care in the delivery of care to individuals, families, groups, and communities. Cultural concepts, theories and models, cultural assessment, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice appropriate for developing knowledge are examined. Learners analyze cultural factors that facilitate/hinder communication.
