MEEG 319 : Manufacturing

Explores major groups of manufacturing processes which consist of casting, forming, machining, and joining processes. Each group of manufacturing processes includes several manufacturing techniques for producing diverse manufactured parts. Also, manufacturing processes for a competitive environment are introduced. These processes include automation in manufacturing and computer-integrated manufacturing. Surface treatment techniques, metal structure, behavior and physical properties are considered. Metal alloys, polymer, ceramics, and composite materials are explored.
