MATH 009 : Intro to Statistics

A first course in statistics, which includes descriptive and inferential statistics, data collection and organization, measures of central tendency, variation, and position, probability, normal distributions, and confidence intervals. This is an introductory course that may be followed by more specialized statistics courses offered by other departments of the University. Not intended for students who have taken calculus, students with a calculus background should take 189.

"C" or better in MATH 005 or 006
