MUTI 111 : Jazztet I
Small ensemble and experimental projects in jazz performance. Instrumental Ensemble for the study and performance of jazz literature. Instrumentalists of all skill levels rehearse and perform music in a collaborative ensemble setting. Focus on individual technique, including scales, arpeggios, and exercises to improve intonation, tone, and rhythm. Work on musical interpretation, dynamics, phrasing, and expression.
