ENGW 105 : Reflective Writing and Portfolios

This second course of the required two-semester First-Year Writing. Build on the study of writing begun in ENGW 104. Study the habits of mind employed by seasoned writers of all professions. Explore the conventions of academic research and engage in the self-examination and the exploration of professional writing conventions as well as the philosophy of writing. Discuss contemporary issues in class and to develop a digital portfolio as a capstone project for the course.

Prerequisites/Permissions

Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENGW 104 with a grade of or higher. NOTE: Successful completion of this First Year Writing course requires a grade of or higher.
