Explore traditional movements and rhythms from West Africa and/or South Africa and is accompanied by live drumming. Study the development of solid foundational skills in African dance technique. Undestand the cultural significance of various dances and rhythms as well as the influences of the African aesthetic in contemporary dance and culture.
