INFO 384 : Business Analytics

Introduces the field of statistics and business analytics. As part of this course, students will learn statistical concepts and its application in the business analytics context. Specific topics include data management, data visualization, probability and statistical inference, analysis, data modeling, and machine learning concepts and techniques. Content analysis, and the application of selected data mining techniques will be illustrated. The delivery of this course is through lectures, project work, and case studies with presentation. As part of the business analytics course curriculum, students will be trained on R, an open-source statistical software.
