INFO 341 : Intro to JAVA Programming

Teaches extensively the programming and object-oriented techniques of Java.  It teaches object-oriented programming concepts, including classes and objects, methods, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism.  It details the fundamentals of the Java language and syntax, introduces students to the major class libraries in Java, and prepares them to begin development of business applications in Java.  It is interspersed with step-by-step exercises illustrating the concepts as they are explained.  Java applications, using J2SE are introduced in this course to provide students with a more thorough understanding of the programming process.
