CHEG 102 : Intro to Engineering Design

Introduction to chemical process design within the context of technological, social, cultural and intellectual developments, The course will help students to appreciate and understand the intellectual framework of engineering and the critical thinking that goes into it, Students will be expected to incorporate an understanding of the role of economic, safety, environmental and ethical considerations into the practice of engineering, and understand the way data is obtained and analyzed with an introduction to software packages that will be utilized in the chemical engineering program, and to provide students the skills and background necessary to be able to interpret data and discuss and communicate results and conclusions.
