AERO 001 : AS 100 Leadership Lab I

Enhances the Air Force ROTC academic curriculum by providing cadets with dynamic experiential activities, opportunities, and feedback needed to develop the leadership, managerial, discipline, and supervisory skills required of successful Air Force officers. LLAB is a student-planned and executed practicum conducted under the supervision of the cadre. In addition to the weekly laboratory, students are required to participate in at least one-hour physical training sessions two days per week.

Students will examine general aspects of the Department of the Air Force (DAF), leadership fundamentals, service benefits, and opportunities for officers and learn the foundation for becoming an Airman or Guardian by outlining our heritage and values. Provides an introduction to the Air and Space Forces, encouraging students to pursue a career in the DAF or at least seek additional information to be better informed about the role of the Air and Space Force.

AERO 013 : Aerospace Studies 100 II

AERO 023 : Aerospace Studies 200 II

Provide a fundamental understanding of both leadership and team building. Students are taught that there are many layers to leadership, including aspects that do not always come to mind. Such things include listening, understanding themselves, being a good follower, and problem-solving efficiently. The students will apply these leadership perspectives when completing team-building activities and discussing conflict management. Students should demonstrate basic verbal and written communication skills.

Additionally, the students will hone their professional military writing and briefing skills. Mandatory course for students enrolled in the first year of the Professional Officer Corps for completion of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps commissioning program.
